“Sinners” rompe récord histórico con 16 nominaciones al Óscar

La Academia de Hollywood dio a conocer este jueves a las y los nominados a la 98 edición de los Premios Óscar, cuya ceremonia se celebrará el 15 de marzo de 2026 en Los Ángeles, California. El anuncio de nominaciones se realizó en una transmisión en vivo desde el Samuel Goldwyn Theater, conducida por los actores Danielle Brooks y Lewis Pullman, donde se confirmaron los contendientes en las distintas categorías rumbo a la gala que tendrá lugar en el Dolby Theatre de Hollywood.

Para esta edición, se incorpora una nueva categoría: Mejor reparto (casting), ampliando las distinciones que reconocen el trabajo creativo detrás de la selección actoral. Como es habitual, cada categoría cuenta con cinco nominados, con excepción de Mejor Película, que puede integrar hasta 10 títulos. En el listado de este año destacó la cinta “Sinners”, dirigida por Ryan Coogler, al obtener 16 nominaciones, convirtiéndose en la producción con más candidaturas en la historia de los Óscar, superando el récord previo de 14 menciones que compartían “All About Eve” (1950), “Titanic” (1997) y “La La Land” (2016).
